Balikbayan box

Kumpirmahin bago bumili ng kahon. Itanong kung anong dimensions, weight limit, at seal ang tinatanggap ng collector.
Mag-inventory habang nagpa-pack. Isulat ang bawat item, quantity, kondisyon, at tapat na halaga; itago ang mga resibo para sa mas mahal na item.
Iwasan ang pagtagas. Ihiwalay sa bag ang bawat liquid kung tinatanggap ito ng carrier; lagyan ng padding ang mga bote at matutulis na gilid. Huwag kailanman itago ang prohibited item.
Punuin ang bakanteng espasyo nang hindi bumubukol ang kahon. Dapat manatiling square ang kahon at kayanin ang stacking. Huwag gumawa ng hawakan sa pamamagitan ng paghiwa rito.
Kunan ng litrato ang bukas na mga layer. Tapos kunan ng litrato ang bawat gilid, label, seal, at box number pagkatapos i-seal ng agent.

Ilarawan nang eksakto ang bawat item, kasama ang materyal, quantity, layunin, halaga, at country of origin kung hinihiling.

Aling option ang dapat kong gamitin para sa mga papeles na kailangan agad?

Automatic bang tax free ang bawat balikbayan box?

Hindi. Dapat qualified ang sender, dapat personal/household effects ang laman at hindi commercial, dapat naaabot ang calendar-year value at frequency rules, at dapat naisumite ang kailangang impormasyon. Puwedeng suriin ng customs ang mga kahon at mag-assess ng charges kapag hindi natugunan ang mga kondisyon.

Puwede ba akong magpadala ng gamot, vitamins, o pagkain?

Kasama ba sa “door to door” ang customs charges?

Inilalarawan lang nito ang collection at delivery, hindi kinakailangang kung sino ang magbabayad ng duty, tax, brokerage, storage, remote-area, o disbursement charges. Humingi ng nakasulat na listahan ng mga kasama at hindi kasamang gastos. Karaniwang hinihiwalay ng mga express courier ang transport sa government charges.

Puwede bang magpadala ng duty-free na balikbayan box ang hindi Filipino?

Ang tiyak na balikbayan-box privilege ay para sa qualified na mga Filipino habang nasa ibang bansa. Puwede pa ring magpadala ang hindi Filipino ng ordinaryong international parcel o freight shipment, pero huwag ipagpalagay na naaangkop ang balikbayan exemption.

Gaano katagal ang sea freight?

Pareho ba ang declared value at insurance?
